We have the Go-Ahead from Iowa Soccer, our governing association, to begin our Travel and Rec Soccer fall seasons. We are glad to be able to get our players back out on the field again so they can enjoy playing soccer and we can all enjoy watching them. Please know that this season will look and feel very different than past seasons, and a team’s ability to continue playing and our ability to continue play as a club, can still change at a moment’s notice. Currently, we are taking it one day at a time and hoping for a full season. If anything changes regarding the status of your teams’s ability to play or the Soccer Club’s season, you will be immediately informed.
Below are the Covid-19 guidelines, set forth by Iowa Soccer and NYSL/NSS (our Travel League), for recommended precautions and safety requirements. Travel and Rec Coaches/GSC staff will be reviewing this information with you at your first practice, in a player/parent team meeting format. They will also share Covid-19 reporting guidelines. Staying in communication with your Coach this season is essential.
- Iowa Soccer Match Day Protocols (For u5/6, u7/8 and u9/10 REC GAMES and all TRAVEL TEAM GAMES, when that game is scheduled to be played in Iowa.)
